MIDWEST MOTORCYCLE TO EXPAND; CALLS ON KEYSTONE AGAINST. LOUIS, Dec. 2, 1999 - Keystone Construction Co. has begun construction on Midwest Motorcycle's addition to their world headquarters in Arnold, Mo. The project will increase the building to 66,000 square feet. In 1995, Keystone Construction Co. built the headquarters for Midwest Motorcycle, a wholesale distributor of parts for Harley Davidson motorcycles. The two-story office with warehouse is located on a 3.8-acre site in Arnold Tenbrook Industrial Park. "When we decided to expand, Keystone's name was the first that came to mind," said Jim Jones, president of Midwest Motorcycle. "They exceeded our expectations on the last project and we know that they will do it again on the addition." The new addition will be used for warehouse operations and is scheduled to open early spring 2000. Keystone is using tilt-up concrete walls with a fully adhered membrane roof. Holleran-Duitsman, Inc. is the architect on the project. Heideman & Associates is the civil engineer and Alper Ladd, Inc. is the structural engineer. Founded in 1987, Keystone Construction Co. specializes in design/build office, hi&endash;tech environments, warehouse and manufacturing facilities. The company recently completed a 70,000-square-feet facility in Chesterfield Valley for Insight Technology Group, one of the fastest growing technology companies in the St. Louis area and sixth-fastest growing high-tech company in the country. |
