KEYSTONE TO BUILD NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL ACCEPTANCE HEADQUARTERS ST. LOUIS, August 1, 2000 - Keystone Construction Co. has been selected as the design/build contractor for the new $1.3 million headquarters for National Educational Acceptance Corp. (NEA) announced Bill Hardie, president of Keystone Construction Co. The new 15,000-square-foot building will be located in the Spirit Trade Center along the Chesterfield Airport Road corridor in Chesterfield Valley. Designed by David W. Dial Architects to be a prominent owner/user facility, the building will have an "L" shaped configuration, two contrasting types of masonry and a series of unique glass and frame openings. NEA will occupy 5,000 square feet of the building while the remainder will be available for lease as high-end service center or office space. "We were interested in building a versatile business center in order to offer tenants maximum flexibility, and Keystone has been excellent to work with every step of the way," said Rick Gans, co-owner of NEA. "We are looking forward to a continuing business relationship with Keystone." NEA provides financing services for a group of privately-owned career schools. The headquarter office being built in Chesterfield Valley will house all marketing, management and accounting functions, employing 20 people. Financing for the project is being provided by Firstar Bank. Founded in 1987, Keystone Construction specializes in design/build office, manufacturing and high tech environments. The company recently built a new 70,000-square-feet facility for Insight Technology Group, one of the fastest growing technology companies in the St. Louis area and the country. Keystone also has recently completed the office/lab retrofit for LINCO Research, Inc., also named one of the Fast 50 in 1999, located in the Missouri Research Park.
